The problem

I'd like to have more options to choose from for the Interrogator model.

Proposed solution

Let us choose models similar to how selecting other types of models work.

How this fits the project scope

There's already a tagger. Just let us choose different ones.

Alternatives considered

Honestly, this is probably already doable just by replacing the tagger files, but I was wondering if there was a more clean solution for it.

Built this, it will go out in the next release.

Settings > Interrogator now has a model dropdown with five WD v3 taggers:

• EVA02 Large v3 (default, the one currently used)
• ViT Large v3
• SwinV2 v3
• ConvNeXt v3
• ViT v3

Each model downloads on first use, same flow as the existing one. The settings panel shows which models are on disk and gives you a delete button per model so you can reclaim the space (they run 400MB to 1.2GB each).

Existing installs will not re-download anything. The EVA02 files you already have get moved into the new per-model folder layout automatically on first run.

All five share the same tag vocabulary, so thresholds and the rest of the tagging UI behave identically, you are just picking a different backbone.

Leaving this open until it actually ships.

I was looking to use the Eva02 Canary model. I have the files already. Will this work with models you already have?

I'll look into that tomorrow, I have to make sure that it's the same shape otherwise it can potentially break artist replacement logic. Will keep you updated, thanks!
