I've been trying to gather steam on a concept to play MUS/STR files (like StereoPlayer10.5) but with modern features such as:
- lyrics toggle option (.WDS) -- not on by default
- pic toggle option (.PIC) -- not on by default
- SD2IEC support (compatible with normal and C64U variants)
- play from directory (if SD2IEC detected)
- shuffle
- playlists (it would only save the .MUS link then the program will search for other files)
- 2nd SID channel (supported by C64U
- If in STEREO mode and a MONO song plays then play MONO song on BOTH sides, instead of fake "stereo"
- Time counter with Total Time Elapsed
- Typical music player buttons: << > || [] >>
No fancy sprite keyboards or animations, just a decently built SID player that is in line with the HVSC option out there.
