Test PYTHONOPTIMIZE=1 and PYTHONOPTIMIZE=2

1. Correct code to support PYTHONOPTIMIZE=1 and PYTHONOPTIMIZE=2.
2. Add both options to the GitHub Workflow tests.
3. Analyse if the options to document endpoints are sufficient, using the @docs way.
