PAR Meters are expensive($300-$500), so I'm using the next best thing, a $5 app. Photone
While its not on par with an actual quantum meter, Shane from Migro thinks its acceptable for the hobbyist. Migro Review

- I don't check regularly, but its usually around 6.4 out of the tap.
- In the 2x4 I have 2 carrots and 3 feet of drip tape in one 30 gal and in the other I have 3 carrots with 4 drippers each.
- I'll likely be replacing the drippers with drip tape, eventually.

Loosely following the "BuildaSoil Way" with some BIO-AG products mixed in.
I have a re-usable AC Infinity trellis in the 2x4.
As the plants grow I tucked the tops under the net to encourage side growth to grow to create an even canopy about 12" under the light.
I've been terrified to defoliate more than a few leaves at a time in flower. I know I need to be better about it, especially in these smaller tents where space is limited. These are some videos I've seen that have helped me.
- Rasta Jeff suggests taking off any leaves that have a purple petioles(stems). He thinks if the petioles has gone purple its been around long enough and is safe to remove.
- Guru mentions that older leaves are less efficient at photosynthesis than newer/younger growth.

- Burp jars a few times daily during the first week
- Once environment settles you only need to burp every few days
- Dry sifting is best done in cool temps, 60f or lower
