Open URLs in a RISC-V native Chromium

Is there a way to support automatic handling of clicked URLs in Felix86, specifically to open them directly in a RISC-V native Chromium browser.

It's possible, if the program uses xdg-open, to passthrough to the host if it's a URL. What program do you want to do this so I can investigate how it opens URLs?

Thanks! I'm trying to use WeChat . However, I'm not sure if it's convenient for you to test it, as I believe registering an account requires a Chinese mainland phone number. Could you let me know how to check how it handles opening URLs? For example, are there specific logs I can check or tools I can use? I can try to do some analysis on my own next week.

So WeChat uses proot, which uses ptrace to capture syscalls like chroot/mount and emulate them.

Ptrace is currently not supported in felix86. It is one of the goals of the year to support apps like this.

That being said, WeChat does use xdg-open, so we should be able to easily passthrough it to the native browser with some changes.

I'll leave the issue open and come back to it when ptrace is implemented.
