[SUGGESTION] Leaderboard

So basically I want to suggest a leaderboard for scheme downloads, and based on that keep or delete the sounds

Currently, this is not doable because the download utility uses the GitHub API to get the files from this repository, and the access is read-only. There is no actual web service to handle the statistics.

If I'm correct, you could set up a server that syncs either on demand (AKA when you manually run git pull) or daily from this repo and track the statistics that way.

GitHub does not record statistics of single file downloads, or at least I do not have access to them.
It would be necessary to host a dedicated website (or at least a dedicated statistics service), which seems a bit overkill.

And that's why I'm suggesting hosting a server that pulls the files (not statistics)

Ah, got it. Anyway, I'll leave the suggestion open for now.

I'd like to integrate scheme library (on your pc) and downloads (online) as dedicated tabs into Sound Manager, and showing popular schemes would be useful. Of course, this requires a fair amount of work.
