Implementing data summaries to address SRG requests #462
Description
From the 2026 Pacific Hake SRG Meeting, the SRG requested that the Survey Team "provide survey age composition and biomass data by country as a routine output, and develop a time-series of summary statistics of the spatial distribution of the population (e.g., center of gravity, latitudinal range, and/or other metrics)."
Adding this as an issue for future implementation in Echopop, when we get closer to capturing various workflow outputs such as age composition and biomass. Request to include country as part of the summary, based on EEZ and/or straight latitude boundary, not by vessel, which may been fishing in US or CAN depending on the year. Also request to add new functions such as estimating CoG, which could be done during the kriging component.
