Steps to reproduce

1. Go to the repo
2. see the QR code
3. Scan it in WeChat

Expected behavior

Join the WeChat group

Actual behavior

WeChat says QR code is expired.

Confirmed: the README currently says the WeChat QR code is valid until May 4, and today is May 8, 2026, so this report is still valid.

This needs a maintainer to generate and upload a fresh WeChat group QR code image, so I am keeping it open rather than closing it as a code fix. GitHub Discussions remains the reliable fallback community channel in the meantime.
