Spectra V1.1: SWD disabled in firmware, no BOOT button — how to flash? #12

Description

@Jeongrak

Hi,

I'm a researcher trying to flash a custom firmware variant to my Spectra V1.1 board (Mindseye Biomedical) for a research.
After extensive testing, I believe SWD has been disabled in the shipped firmware and the board lacks the BOOT/RESET buttons present on the Eval-ADuCM350EBZ. I would appreciate guidance on the correct procedure.

What I've verified works

  • J-Link EDU Mini detected correctly (S/N 801015239, FW Apr 2026)
  • VTref reads 3.299V consistently (cable polarity confirmed correct)
  • Cable is keyed so reverse insertion is physically impossible
  • J-Link Web Control Panel confirms ADuCM350 device selected, SWD 115kHz
  • CM3WSD.exe loaded with openeit.hex, COM3 detected
  • CM3WSD receives data from board (not just timing out)

What fails

J-Link SWD path

J-Link> connect
Device "ADUCM350" selected.
Connecting to target via SWD
Error occurred: Could not connect to the target device.
