Not launching environment variable in steam game mode

Why using gamemode.conf when launching from steam game mode?
I want to use game specific environment variables in steam game mode, but scopebuddy doesn't do that.

because things you have in scb.conf which is designed for desktop mode is not compatible or relevant for gamemode.
gamemode.conf is just the scb.conf for gamemode, per game(AppID) configs still work in gamemode and you can put the environment variables in there with the format

export ENV_VAR=VALUE

the export is important since it is not an internal scopebuddy variable

Until you find the solution, i figured out a workaround.
