Keyboard backlight non-functional on ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401WU

asusctl version: 6.3.8 (Fedora, via Terra repo)
Kernel version: Linux 7.0.12-201.fc44.x86_64
Distro: Fedora Linux 44 workstaion

Description:
The keyboard backlight does not respond to any control method.
The LED device is detected at /sys/class/leds/asus::kbd_backlight/
and accepts brightness writes (0–3), but the physical keyboard light
never changes state — it stays off regardless of value written.

asusctl leds set high reports success and asusctl leds get confirms
"Current keyboard led brightness: High", but the hardware does not respond.

Did you perhaps check if FA401WU is inside https://github.com/OpenGamingCollective/asusctl/blob/main/rog-aura/data/aura_support.ron? If it isn't here then your device isn't supported as for now

ok thx didnt find it there is there anyway i can help to make it supported like getting files needed or such cuz i still have windows

It's more than enough to creare a PR with something like this
