[REQ] Reduce RAM load

Dear devs,

First of all thanks for creating this app since it really contributes to my day-to-day Homey experience.
Recently I've been pretty critic on the amount of apps used since Homey tends to be unstable while using several apps.
There I noticed that besides the core load (Homey - 130MB), LED-Ring collectie is the highest RAM consumer with 21+ MB.
For a relatively "dumb" app I feel this number is quite high.

Could you please explain why this app is taking so much resources?
And would there be any way of reducing this?

for me it's 40+MB on a early 2018 Homey on v3.x. I was able to reduce the load by 50% by removing all the unused animations "groups", but the two I'm interested in. I was able to even reduce another 3-4MB when only keeping the two animations I'm using.

@OpenMindNL would it be a suggestion to add a settings page to (un)check animation groups to prevent creating animations, which aren't going to be used?
