Welcome to BetterDash 🏍️

The Royal Enfield Tripper dash is a great piece of kit — but
requiring a permanently connected phone with the screen always
on is a pain every one of us has felt. Dead battery by lunch,
reconnecting after every stop, blank screen if the phone drops.

This project fixes that.

We've reverse-engineered the Tripper's WiFi protocol and can
now stream a fully custom UI to the dash from a laptop — no
RE app, no phone required. The end goal is a Raspberry Pi Zero
permanently mounted on the bike that handles everything
autonomously, with your phone only needed to send a GPX route
via Bluetooth before you set off.

Where we are: proof of concept working on a MacBook.
Where we're going: self-contained Pi build, custom nav UI,
and a side branch for Android Auto (highly requested!).
