15th and 22nd August 2019 1-3pm: Practicing version control with Git

Hi everyone,

We're going to run two sessions for using Git for version control. Each is 2 hours but you can drop in and out as you please. We'll be covering parts of content from both SWC novice Git and Happy git with R

• Session 1 will focus more on getting git setup and configured and then how to use git for version control

• Session 2 will focus more on collaboration, such as branching, merging, and conflicts.

Bring along a laptop to join in.

All sessions will be 1-3pm, in room 319 of Dept of Biochem on Thursdays 15th and 22nd August

No we didn't but I can recreate it.
Was it the "spheres of influence" diagram or the "local versus remote history branches" or both?
