At FRUGAILS, accessible from our GitHub repository https://github.com/PacifAIst/FRUGAILS, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by FRUGAILS and how we use it.
FRUGAILS is a 100% private, offline application.
- No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification information (such as name, email, location, or device IDs).
- No Usage Tracking: We do not use cookies, analytics, or third-party tracking tools.
- Offline Operation: The application functions entirely on your local device. No data is sent to any external servers.
The app requests specific permissions to function correctly:
- Camera/Flashlight: Used solely to deliver the 40Hz visual stimulation. No images or videos are recorded or shared.
- Audio/Media: Used to play the 40Hz auditory stimulation. No microphones are accessed.
- Notifications: Used to manage the background service during active sessions.
As an open-source project, our full source code is available for public audit at our official repository. This ensures full transparency regarding our data handling practices.
FRUGAILS provides sensory stimulation based on scientific research but is not a certified medical device. The information provided is for educational and wellness purposes only.
