What feature do you want added/changed/removed?

I'd suggest that we document all the items/mechanics that seem op or violate the SMP's vibe, then for each of them:

  1. assume it's banned;
  2. discuss possible ways to unban them, preferably through harder recipes (more expensive; requiring processing methods from multiple mods) and/or nerfing;
  3. execute the discussed solution (kubejsing or staying banned)

Why should this feature be added/changed/removed?

The balancing in modern ATM packs seems to work. People still call them kitchen-sink packs and those tweaks don't ruin the vibe. Moreover, with tweaked recipes and an ultimate goal to pursue, these ATM packs make sure that the players who seek "endgame content" also have things to do, and therefore truly "cover all kinds of playstyles".

I believe we can do it as well... well, probably minus the "ultimate goal" part tho; at least not an ultimate goal with an ultimate prize. A player achieving creative items truly demotivates other players to continue playing as "they've already lost the race". Now, "the race” is clearly a concept that this narrative imposes on other types of players, but from my experience, very few people are completely unaffected by it. I've seen that happen so many times.

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that adding tweaked recipes is fun and helps balancing, but avoid adding a "winning the server" prize.
