🐛 [BUG] - Wrong unlock times

First of all, thanks for all the work that you've been doing.

I've been having a bug for quite some time but didn't see it mentioned yet.

Version used : Release v1.0.0-beta1 (Windows)

Bug : When I start unlocking achievements by setting a time, the last 2 achievements will be unlocked together.
I've reproduced it yesterday on a game on which I had 3 achievements left to unlock : The first achievement unlocked a the expected time, the last 2 unlocked precisely at the same time.

One particular thing : the time on Steam seems correct, but when I look at the time in Achievement tracking sites for instance, the time is wrong.

Reproduction steps

1. Go to Any game and set a time
2. Click on Start
3. Look at the time on SH

Thanks a lot for taking the time to open an issue.

I've just corrected an issue involving timed unlocking potentially not being entierly accurate on the latest release 1.0.0-beta3. Can you try to see if it fixes your issue?

I could not reproduce the issue on my end (with and without the beta3 version), after trying with different apps and amount of achievements to unlock. When you unlocked the last two achievements, did Steam give you the achievements notifications one after the other, or both at the same time?

On a technical standpoint, all that is really possible to do from your computer is sending a message to the Steam "cloud" that an achievement has been unlocked at the current time. Unfortunately I'm not sure there's a lot I can do if the issue lies between the third party website and this Steam "cloud".

Note that you can edit an achievement's unlock time if you wanted to, by locking it and unlocking it again.

Let me know if you find a reliable way to reproduce the issue, or if there's anything I can do. You might want to report the issue to your third-party website as well depending on your findings.

In the meantime, I'll let this one open in case there's any development or anything I can do,

Here's what I did, to reproduce the incident :

1. Select a game and click on Manage
2. Set "Go to" 50 for a game that had 47/50 achievements unlocked and set a time of 348 minutes (so 1 achievement each 116 minutes)
3. Clicked on Start

I've launched the program at 00:46 and here are my results :

49 | 04:38 | 06:34
50 | 06:34 | 06:34

Achievements seemed to be unlocked one at a time (only had 1 notification at each unlock).

One odd thing is that it seems like the 49th achievement unlocked twice as we can see from these two screenshots, at 04:38 and then at 06:34.

Thank you for the additional info.

I tried many times to reproduce the problem, unlocking all but 3 achievements over different amounts of time, but unfortunately I could not get the same result than you. I'm at a loss right now because everything seems to be in order on my end.

By the way I assume from your first screenshot screenshots that Shopaholic is the 49th achievement, and that in your second screenshot it is unlocked again because it's on the "showcase" spot of the Steam library UI. Is that what you're trying to show?

Without new evidence I think I'll have to drop the case for now unfortunately, but I'll leave the issue open in case someone can report a similar behavior.
