Describe the Bug

Depending on the font I use, the spacing looks very weird, the font is small with a lot of vertical and horizontal spacing. For example, with the font Consolas on Windows:

And here with the font Lucida Console, the letters E and F are hard to distinguish when the underline is activated:

Expected Behavior

The expected behavior is for the spacing to be automatically adjusted somehow or to add an option to adjust the horizontal and vertical spacing manually.

System

• Windows 10 Pro 21H2
• pw3270-5.4.22.5-gtk-3.22.15-x86_64.exe
• About page shows version 5.4-22.5.24

The spacing is calculated from metrics reported by the font itself, that said this problem seens to be related with the font itself. Is this a bitmapped font?

I'm not completely sure, but I don't think it is bitmapped, since its a font that comes with Windows
