Log management and dysfunctions in Plakman 0.9.0

1. After downloading a log (UI setting area), I can't extract the file from the .gz
   [JoR@Alma92 ~]$ tar -xvf /tmp/plakman-logs-2026-06-16-827254126.log.gz
   tar: Ceci ne ressemble pas à une archive de type « tar »
   tar: On saute à l'en-tête suivant
   gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
   tar: Child returned status 1
   tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

• From the Alma Lnx desktop explorer, a double click on the file will extract it without issue.
• Using 7zip on window gives a "data error" message or "unexpected end of datas"

2. Sometime the download doesn't finish :

   I get this on Windows Chrome that first block the file for security so that I have to validate the download.

3. I can click on download and get a file even if there is no date given -> suggestion to enforce a date or showing the today’s date by default.

4. I see the log files gently growing since the initial setup while I haven’t started any operations except logs download. Are there settings like :

• Limit the log size
• Give a date of max retention
• Manage the split of logs in smaller files.

5. Enhancements:

• Use From To Date (down to minutes level) to generate more focused logs
• Separate logs specialized on main product modules/functions.
• Add a log view section in the UI
