Crash Issue for Patch 01.003.201

Application crashes after enabling lock while game is open after patch 01.003.201. Additionally, if you attempt to lock before opening the game the application will appear to work as normal except it fails to lock the mouse to the game window.

Steps to reproduce error

1. Open Helldivers 2 after patch 01.003.201
2. Enable lock
3. See error

I've tried reinstalling it and reinstalling .NET 9 Runtime, neither worked. I am guessing it has something to do with the recent patch because I was able to use this perfectly fine before it rolled out.

Hope it's an easy fix, this app is super convenient! Thanks for making it!

Heya. Out of curiosity, Does the program still crash for you if you run it as admin?

I gave this a test tonight and everything seems to be working fine on my end. Do you get any error messages or does the app just close on you?

No error messages sadly, the app closes while the "looking for game" text appears. I'll reinstall Helldivers 2 and see if that fixes the issue.

While I'm not sure what the problem is I suspect the problem lies firmly with my code. Instead of trying to troubleshoot the cause I'll take some time to rewrite some of program to be more resilient to failures.

Hey. Sorry this took so long. I finally got around to writing the logic behind finding the game and keeping the mouse confined. Could you give the latest release a try and see if it works? :3

It's all good. Glad you're still working on this! I tried out the new version, and it no longer crashes... but now it can't find the game. Even when launched as an admin, the program simply displays "looking for game" and fails lock the mouse.

We're getting closer to it working. Maybe its a problem with my setup this time?

Interesting. I have added some extra logging to see if I can catch where the issue resides, would you mind trying this version?
