App is necessary to allow (trans)actions within online banking and apobanking+ by providing TANs.

Apobank is the standard bank for physicians, therapists and pharmacists and other health care professionals.

Unfortunately with v5.6.0 apoTAN found a way to exclude Graphene useres from its service again. 😒
I tried the three possible workarounds but none of them worked.

Sadly I have to confirm what @maste9 said. Stopped working for me, too.
It was working just fine all this time, but now I'm essentially locked out of my online banking...

How do others deal with this?

As I have zero trust in the services of german banks I bought a photoTAN-Device from them as backup when they dumped the perfectly working chipTAN system.
So at least I can now carry this device with me. And yes: They send the device and after that you have to wait for a separately sent code to activate it. So if you order now you won't be able to use it before 1 or 2 weeks I fear.

For the record: It seems like they withdrew v5.6.0 on the 24th. Store page now shows again 5.5.3 as latest version.
I am currently waiting for the activation letter to enable my Pixel 8 after I reinstalled the app and will update this issue with information whether it is working again.
(Sadly even though I was able to login to their online banking with my old Nexus 5X their self service TAN device management is currently out of service, so I am waiting for the letter... -.-)

I just stumbled upon this issue, because my app stopped working, too (Graphene, Pixel 7).
Store shows Version 5.6.1
I have a spare iode device with an older app version which is still working, so I tried reinstalling on the Graphene device, unfortunately no success. Ordered the TAN device immediately...
I'm going to switch my daily transfers to ING which seems to be not interested in annoying their customers.
