Obviously not ideal, we have the IDs and they should be applied the same when loaded. Use those for connections instead of names? Is there a reason I didn't do that in the first place?

Never mind. It does, I just forgot. We have to apply the ID to the input/output at some point, and that's where the issue is. We could potentially have some sort of [Previously("name1", "name2")] attribute that can link these up better, but it needs some thought.
