Particle to letter

It would be nice to have a sort of "particle -> letter" or some other "ultrashort representation" conversion interface, to make generating process strings like "ke -> ke" easy.

I suggest
electron -> e
positron -> p
photon -> k

Something like this could also be used in reverse to parse process strings into processes.
