Results from Z exercise test

I did a (relatively) quick pass through the Z exercise and got the following results:

• N_ee = 43.2 +- 6.6 (NOTE: this number has been multiplied by an acceptance correction factor of 1.6)
• N_mumu = 42 +- 6.5
• N_tautau = 47 +- 6.8
• N_qq = 884 +- 29.7

It turns out that in the data sample there are 6 qq duplicates and 1 tau-tau duplicate (see #16 )
Removing these gives N_tautau = 46 +- 6.8, N_qq = 878 +- 29.6

Revisiting these after discussions with one other tester I would probably re-categorize 5 of my tau-tau candidates to be qq.
