When you talk about reports, what do you mean in terms of QuickEvent? Is it:

• startlist / results
• competitors statistics
• competitors with rented cards
• receipts
• awards/diplomas

something else?

Are you thinking about external template editor? Drag&drop designer as I tried to create in #1176 could be better and more user-friendly in my opinion. I try to keep in mind that the main purpose of this change should be to make things as easy as possible for regular users.

I'm fine with D'n'D editor for awards, but I do not feel that we can extend it to handle complex reports like receipts, for example. In any case I'd like D'n'D editor to generate Typst! template. I think that we should not write rendering on our own anymore, because it gets more and more complicated with any new feature. QML reports are good example of this :)
