The new Webhooks work great, I can trigger an immediate update of the data in Home Assistant when playback is started or stopped by removing the scan_interval value in the configuration.yaml for the sensor and then using an Automation to trigger an update.entity service:

The automation is triggered by the webhook

Not filtering the webhook events at the moment since I'm only sending playback.started and playback.stopped and that's enough to get the sensor to update when the content being played changes.

That's awesome, setting up those webhooks was a lot more work than I expected since the playback state had to be updated in all the heartbeat calls, so its nice to hear it's working!

On another note, v0.15.11+ will have the by-number endpoints fully built out:

• GET /channels/by-number/{number} (already existed)
• GET /channels/by-number/{number}/now (new)
• GET /channels/by-number/{number}/schedule (new)
