Addition of 3rd string and battery values possible?

Dear RASBR,

after a hint that the new inverter line 6.0-12.0 NH3 (hybrids with battery management) as released last year (2024) are technically similar to the NX series (without battery) I got your integration successfully running in home assistant and I'm able to see the values.

Ist there a possibility to include sensors for

• a third string (NH '3')
• battery values

as well as changing the name from 3.7NX to something entered individually to exactly match the connected inverter?

Thanks in advance as I'm just a very unexperienced user and new to HA, github ...

Firstly, thanks for your note, and I am glad that it worked for other models.
Honestly this is my first integration, and I am not a pro, just a hobbyist coder and smart home enthusiast, so I will do my best, but I don't expect it soon yet I will do my best.

I am thinking of adding some sort of a max sensor as well to track which days the output is top (per week, per month, per year)!! and any suggestions and help is welcome.

Dear Rami, thanks for your quick reply! Indeed I would have one wish: The new series „NH3“ of Kaco (addition of hybrid/battery function) has a third string (and their recently updated app even has a fourth one to connect to). I guess the register codes is just the counting up from 1st to 2nd and further up to 3rd (and 4th) string/MPPT. So is it possible to „just“ copy and paste the relevant section (and others that refer to it) and try whether values fort he third and fourth appear? I could be your beta tester if needed. Hi Mathias,
You can try now, I made some enhancements, and I hope they are working with no error. I did some testing and didn't find any yet.

Update method:

1. Delete all the content of the kaco folder inside the custom_components folder (make sure to delete the 'pycache' folder too).
2. Copy the content of the custom_components/kaco/ folder in place of the deleted files.
3. Restart Home Assistant
4. Reload the integration for existing devices.

Hi Rami, no errors in your version - it works. Seemingly there was no third sensor showing up ,so I detected "no changes". Where can I get a list of available data of the converter, i.e. battery power, battery state, power to grid or similar?
