Could you explain what would be the use case for this?

We want to store this in our asset registry

What's the reason to store the consignments there?

Primarily for verification purposes. We explored the rgbex.io registry, which contains contracts, and decided to store it there.

The feature makes sense if also an API to import a contract exists. Right now we have other priorities but we'll look into this.

Hi! There are no updates and I have no idea when it will be prioritized. Currently we are working on RGB repos in order to prepare it for auditing.
