Photos taken in low light conditions are in black and white (due to removal of UV filter in camera) this affects processing scripts which rely on colour (e.g. anything which uses huw such as MeasureTwist1.m. To better deal with this image QA analysis (photoQuality.m) needs to identify black and white images.
A workaround was applied in 8d49961 but this is not ideal.
