NoteIt

A minimal notes app with rich text editing, tags, and search. Everything saves to localStorage — no server, no account.

Features

  • Create, edit, and delete notes
  • Rich text formatting: bold, italic, headings, lists, inline code, dividers
  • Tag system with filter sidebar
  • Full-text search across title and content
  • Auto-save as you type
  • Notes sorted by last edited
  • Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+N to create a new note

Run

open index.html

Works completely offline. Notes persist in browser localStorage.

Tech

Vanilla HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Uses contenteditable for the editor and document.execCommand for formatting. IBM Plex Sans + IBM Plex Mono for typography.
