Please add the following information:

• which APIs this is referring to
• which API actions/activities the access policies are protecting
• anything else I would need to know

Hi @bauer-at-work , thanks again for your feedback, we have updated the documentation accordingly. The APIs you mentioned essentially behave like integration flows. Therefore, access policies affect API artifacts in the same way they affect integration flows. Thank you so far. I would assume that the access policies don't cover API artifacts from the API Management component.
Can you clear this up for me?

Access policies also cover the API artifacts, in the same way they covers iFlows.
The REST API, HTTP API, and SOAP API are nudge (legacy) APIs. The term API here refers to the API artifact, which represents the newer version.
