Hey, If I'm understanding correctly I think what you’re seeing is expected behaviour. Even when “Sample ending at: now” is selected, the line itself may appear to stop at the last data point because the chart view scales to the visible plotted data. It does not currently draw an empty gap from the last data point through to now.

The setting still changes which data is included in the graph though:

1. With “Now”, data points after the current time are excluded.
2. With “Now”, the selected sample duration is measured backwards from the current time.

With “Last data point”, the selected duration is measured backwards from the latest data point instead. So if your last data point was a month ago and the graph shows “1 week”, “Now” shows the last week from today, while “Last data point” shows the week before that last recorded point.
