Source/reference image, and additional models

From what I understand, only FLUX models seem to support using a source/reference image. Is it possible to do this with other models as well?

The reason I'm asking is that FLUX doesn't seem very accurate in my case. It often keeps the exact outfit from the reference image and ignores much of the clothing description in the prompt.

Also, can additional models be manually added to the program? If yes, which model formats are supported, and in which folder should they be copied so the program can detect and load them?

Technically, the "Z-Image Turbo (ZIT)" model also supports the image-to-image task via Diffusers' ZImageImg2ImgPipeline. However, since ZIT wasn't trained for image editing, using this model for this task isn't ideal. There's not much open-source edit models... For now, the only way to edit images in an unmodified* ZPix is to use the "FLUX.2 [klein] 4B" model.

You can try using prompts such as "Remove X. Keep Y.". It's recommended to put important instructions at beginning. If you have a very strong GPU, you can add* "FLUX.2 [klein] 9B"; it should be more accurate. Note 9B is for non-commercial use.

Yes. (*) Modify data \ curated_models.json file in ZPix install folder to add models. In this JSON, the id field is the Hugging Face (HF) model repository. For now, only Diffusers models based on "Z-Image" or "klein" and quantized with SDNQ are supported. Restart ZPix to see the new models in dropdown; they are downloaded on-demand from HF.
