Mod unit configs

What are your thoughts on unit/camp configs for different modsets? Jam everything in one big file? Branch off different sets for each addon ie: one set for CAF, one for CAF_AG, etc, etc?

I like idea, would be nice to have few kinds of camps

1. Rebels hideout (maybe ammo, static MG)
2. Road block camp (static MG/AT or vehicle that can't move)
3. Small base/observation post/ (small mortar/MG/AT
4. Big base/FOB (with everything)

As for mods

1. RHS - camps for US and RU forces
2. Leight opfor pack - for rebels and armies
3. For other mods, CAF_AG are quite popular still.

It would be easy to serch for needed camp if you add few files, 1 for each fraction like USMC woodlan = 1 file.
But one big file is more simple to use (just put it do DAC and go) it just need txt file where you have some sort of shortcut with information like. (case1 = small us camp;case2 = roadblock us;...) So IMO one big file is better option.

Question, weren't the 3 first units used for teamleaders and such?
I ask this because I think that Leights OPFOR files are wrongly configured, as first units are AT and AR units, while Teamleaders are at the end. I am correct?

1. Crew
2. Pilot
3. Teamleader
4. Rest...

Merged fix for LOP units. I hear they are no longer supported by the author though :(

I believe AAF Recon units do not exist? On DAC_Config_Units.sqf, case 6, it does not spawn units.

That is odd perhaps BIS changed classnames? Those were compiled 2 years ago or more IIRC. Will confirm and remove them.

About LOP, now that was final update for now, since Leight dont have any ideas what more could be ported. Maybe I will ask him for Takistan army but for now he told me that it is all he planned.

About camps, will you do more camps?

I've been slowly working on camps on the VR map but haven't had a lot of time recently. Things should setting down in the next week or two and I'll devote more time to it.

Some time has passed, mods have changed and it might be good time to think about changes in units. I already removed all old mods from DAC_Config_Units.

So what mods are now "cool" and mostly used?

For me it is going to be CUP, RHS, US Military Mod, what else should be here?

CUP and RHS are by far would be the top priority and in that order I would think.
