JSON schema?

Shouldn't we provide JSON schemas allowing to validate easily some data formats (as XSD does)?
E.g. dates, names (without special chars) etc etc
Or is it always only at custom level that such first validation level is done?

The OpenAPI YAML files contain the JSON schema to validate the OSIA requests and responses.
For the blocks with additional properties (ex: biographicData) not specified by OSIA, it is up to the implementation to select how to specify those properties and JSON schema is indeed a very good option.

Note that not everything can be done using JSON schema and your implementation may decide to implement "manual" validation specified in Word or Excel documents, for example to validate required/optional fields based on the exact Use Case.

Note: we considered in the past JSON-LD to add a link to a JSON schema but this got a low priority in our roadmap survey and was put on hold for now.
