I would like to use this app as a management platform for our club room management. To be precise, I would like to do the following:
I use some variant of the Extern mode of the app. In one calendar, I have a set of free time slots that are not occupied by other appointments or fixed training slots. These windows might be rather large (like during the day, there is not much occupied, so there are long phases of nothing which might be used by our members.
The members, however, would not need to book the complete appointment (that might be from 8 to 16), but select a slice of it (e.g. 15-16). The rest of the free time keeps free. The public users might select an arbitrary start and end time within the (free) time slot as they see fit.
I see that with the External mode, something similar is more or less possible. One would have to create a grid of slots (like every hour or every 30 min) and the users would have to book multiple consecutive appointments. However, for a longer session (like 2,5h) when having a rather fine 30min grid, this means 5 times booking and 5 mails to confirm. Nasty.
Thanks for considering!
