I would like to unbind controller gyro, but there does not seem to be a way to select "nothing" as the bind.

I'm currently binding gyro to the / key on the keyboard and that seems to work ok.

There are a few different ways this can be resolved, the feasibility will depend on your OS & device.

Option 1: create a custom device configuration that removes the device providing gyro events. This will work for most devices. The legion go and Go2 produce gyro events on the same hid device that the controller buttons come from, so this would only be a partial fix. The choice of OS will make a big difference to how much maintenance this option takes. If /etc is preserved through updates you should be good to go.

Option 2: we have a dbus interface that can add event filters so they won't be processed. It's not super intuitive, but you'll need to add a list of lists with the source device and the filtered events, then another source device and it's events, and so on. You'll also need to find a way to trigger this. If option 1 doesn't work out for your device I'll work with you to get the command correct and figure out how to trigger it.
