Three concepts of illagers that could find some purpose in raids (and therefore be interesting for raids backport in case you wish to add custom mobs later on)

Viler Witch :
Straight from Minecraft Earth and not fully an illager the viler witch throws lingering potions around, creating small pools which damage entities walking through it; in minecraft earth they also could sometimes drink an invisibility potions as if they were an evil wandering trader of sorts (but it would probably be best not to add this feature/add a config option to disable viler witch invis.)
They seem to be "higher witches" and could be made to spawn in certain rooms of the woodland mansions (or simply naturally spawn in roofed forests, but making them mansions-exclusive seem more interesting to me but really its whatever)

Pillager with Pavise :
Pavise -> Medieval placeable shield used by ranged soldiers, some pillagers could spawn with it carried on their back (protecting from backstabbing) and eventually they could place it as an entity (to avoid mob griefing issues) and would hide behind it while reloading their crossbow;
I made a random reddit post on that one concept on r/minecraftsuggestions not too long ago but it likely isn't as detailed

(If that mob becomes a unique mob instead of a pillager variation they could very much be scouts armed with both crossbow and axe, switching between hiding behind their placed shield to attacking like a vindicator if the player/golem is too close but I think I'm going to far with this)

Girtablullu ? :
I've seen from a random video listing all illagers that a marketplace addon added an half-spider half-evoker monstrosity and thought that maybe making it into a scorpion-type creature could be more interesting (as there's already an iceologer backport made by UnOriginal, so no real need for a second illager whose purpose is to slow the player down);
They could attack you with spells when far away, but will not run away if the player is too close; instead they will use their stinger to defend themselves with a poisonous hit; If this mob is made resilient enough, they could be an interesting way of giving more situations to use **Bane of Arthopods **
(yes witches poison too but I believed they also have a support role as healers, which this mob will not have, using poison as defense only)

for the spells ? idk haven't thought about it too much but there's a lot of possibilities as long as its not summons, since the evoker already kind of fits this purpose. It could very much just shoot magical projectiles with interesting special properties

Enchanter :
In minecraft Dungeons there's the enchanter (which already has a mod based on it in recent versions) and what's interesting with it is that they act as support illagers, without really dealing too much damage alone; they could randomly buff nearby illagers (either with potions effects from a customizable list, or with a whole new mob enchant system but again that could easily be too much to handle)

If we assume the ravager is likely inspired by manticores , there's definitely room for more fantasy/mythological illager types or beasts.

Anyways those are just some random suggestions I had; I could suggest more if you want, and I do not expect anything as it is not my mod; feel free to do anything with this, or not;
