Fixed in 0.2.5, just shipped (PyPI uploaded, GitHub source already on main at v0.2.5). Three things, all closed:

1. ROUND(AVG(salary)) and similar wrappers around aggregates: planner now hoists nested aggregates from anywhere in the expression tree, not just the top level.
2. ORDER BY avg_salary DESC (alias of an aggregate expression): PhysicalOrderBy now precomputes per-row sort keys via the expression executor when any clause isn't a plain column ref.
3. AVG(x) + 1 losing the +1, AVG(x) / COUNT(*) returning inf: pre-existing arithmetic-type-promotion bug surfaced by the hoist. Fixed.

Verified your exact query against DuckDB byte-for-byte. pip install -U slothdb 0.2.5 landed on PyPI and reopen if anything else trips. Thanks for the detailed repro.

The other two notes from your terminal session for completeness:

• FROM sales and FROM employees without quotes need to be a registered table or a quoted file path, like the working FROM 'employees.csv' you have lower down. SlothDB doesn't auto-discover tables from the filesystem.
• read_csv('data/*.csv') glob expansion does work in 0.2.3+. If it's still hitting "No files matching", check pwd of the directory you launch the REPL from.
