SIMD-Kernels is dual-licensed. The open-source licence is AGPL-3.0, which requires any software that uses or incorporates SIMD-Kernels to be released under the same terms. If you cannot or do not wish to comply with the AGPL-3.0, a commercial licence is available.
A commercial licence is required if you:
- Integrate SIMD-Kernels into a proprietary product or service
- Distribute software incorporating SIMD-Kernels without releasing your source code under AGPL-3.0
- Use SIMD-Kernels as part of a SaaS or hosted service and do not wish to comply with AGPL-3.0 network use provisions
- Embed SIMD-Kernels in a commercial SDK, library, or data platform
- The right to use, integrate, and distribute SIMD-Kernels in proprietary software without AGPL-3.0 obligations
- No requirement to disclose or open-source your application code
- No copyleft obligations on derivative works
- Rights to use all current and future versions released during the licence term, subject to agreement terms
- Resale or sublicensing of SIMD-Kernels itself as a standalone product
- Removal of copyright notices from source files
- Any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or guaranteed accuracy - see the disclaimer below
Standard Commercial Licence - £10,000 per organisation (perpetual)
Includes a 12-month maintenance period covering updates, new statistical methods and distribution families, and compatibility with std::simd stabilisation changes. Thereafter, an optional annual maintenance subscription of £2,000 per organisation is available to continue receiving updates.
OEM / Redistribution Licence
If you intend to embed SIMD-Kernels in a product or SDK distributed to third parties, an OEM licence is required. OEM terms are negotiated individually based on redistribution scope. Contact us to discuss.
This software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In no event shall SpaceCell Enterprises Ltd. be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of this software. Users are solely responsible for validating outputs in their own systems.
