The ability to read .PK3/.ZIP files.

I mainly use Wadinator to give me random maps to play. I have plenty of maps in .PK3 format, and was wondering if it would be possible to have those be able to be picked by Wadinator.

This is something I plan to add, but there are a few complications. The current Wadinator is a massive ball of spaghetti code due to me throwing it together a few hours before I recorded the UAC_DEAD.WAD episode, so I can't even imagine what adding in other container formats would be like. To put it into perspective: it's enough of a mess that it actually has two different WAD file classes—one for loading and one for saving. Yeah, it's not great. XD

The other issue is that many ZDoom levels either use the Hexen map format or UDMF, neither of which are supported.

That said, I've been slowly working on a rewrite/redesign that would heavily cleanup the source, add in extra features like this (which would also give us Hexen support), and decouple the engine from the UI (opening up the possibility of having a GUI frontend).

tl;dr, it's a bit of a long-term goal but this is definitely going to happen at some point. :D
