Why does this mod exist?

I use wayland with minecraft using glfw-wayland-minecraft-cursorfix from the AUR perfectly fine without this mod, and this mod doesn't really have an explanation of what it does, so what does it even do?

Even glfw-wayland works fine too, but it causes the game console to have a cursor related error which I don't notice at all in game, which the AUR package fixes.

I am having problems with XWayland and Minecraft, probably because I updated NVIDIA drivers, but checking out the code, this doesn't seem to do much.
All it seems to do is not set the icon for the Minecraft window, if you're on Wayland...
So... I have no clue why this would help whatsoever...

Updating GLFW and modding Minecraft to make it work with the updated GLFW would be the proper fix.
If there are any references to the Xorg server, then those have to go too.

After a bit, just a tip, if someone is using Prism Launcher on flatpak, install the exact version of your driver on flatpak.
