Our server had 4 people on, it was also a blood moon even that spawns more mobs at night.
The blood moon always dropped the tps a bit but this time it plummeted, lag goggles revealed something odd about your mod, see pic below.

Laggoggles doesnt go too deep into code calls, so it just notices that top level method of yours taking up lots of time.
93 spiders were spawned too, worth noting but not sure if matters.
