Gait spatiotemporal descriptors extraction from 3D SMPL or poses

Dear CARE-PD folks,

I really appreciate you making this excellent work publicly available.

I am currently exploring the CARE-PD repository for markerless gait analysis research. My goal is to use the pose/3D mesh outputs from monocular walking videos to estimate gait spatial-temporal parameters such as:

step length / step size
stride length
walking speed
cadence
stride time
other spatiotemporal, stability, and posture-related parameters

I would like to ask how exactly these parameters were extracted in your work. Were they computed using 2D pose information, 3D pose data, or 3D meshes?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance, recommendations, or references to relevant parts of the codebase.
