I just purchased my new Openterface Mini-KVM from CrowdSupply, and I experimenting with it for the first time.
I am using macOS as a host and targeting a Windows 10 laptop.
I connected the HDMI port of the KVM to the HDMI port of the laptop for video, but I am wondering: Does the Mini-KVM support video over USB-C as well? I would normally be able to connect an external monitor to this laptop using USB-C 3, 4, or even Thunderbolt since the on the laptop is very capable.
Is the Mini KVM limited to HDMI at the moment? If so, is there any 'better' version of the KVM that I could purchase to support video over USB as well? My ideal set up would be to transfer everything over USB as if the KVM were a hub. This would mean video, webcams, microphones, mouse, and keyboard.
