Welcome to Moira Discussions
Welcome to the Moira discussion space.
Moira is an astronomy-first engine built around computational integrity, explicit policy, transparent derivation, and reference-oriented validation. This discussion space exists to support serious conversation around the engine, its behavior, its scope, and its future development.
This is the right place for:
Moira is a serious technical project. Strong disagreement, close scrutiny, and detailed questioning are all welcome here. In many cases, they are necessary. Precision matters. Evidence matters. Clear reasoning matters.
What does not belong here is noise, bad-faith argument, vague speculation presented as fact, or discussion that treats plausible output as a substitute for validated behavior.
If you are opening a discussion, try to be as clear as possible. State the problem, the question, the proposal, or the uncertainty directly. If your topic concerns numerical results, doctrinal distinctions, or comparison with another engine, include the relevant basis, source, or rationale.
A few principles govern discussion here:
If you are here to understand Moira more deeply, ask.
If you are here to challenge an assumption, do so clearly.
If you are here to propose an improvement, make the case with precision.
Welcome.
