I wonder if there is someone who omitted the 3D Print of the base. I am kinda reluctant (effort, other reporting issues with pin/connectors, never done printing and would need to go out)
So these are my takes what could be considered:
Official Dock?
I do have the dock. It is for charging and has an wireless pad. It uses an USB-A Connector. Has anybody tried to connect this way?

Solder directly?
Why not just solder the cables to the pin pads? I only own one device...
Use a 2 row pin header and some rubber bands to press on the pads?
Any experience with these ideas?
