Contributing to Application Frame

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Application Frame 🎉!

Application Frame is an open Library for the web platform. We aim to fill the gaps of existing web APIs.

This documents is a set of guidelines for contributing to Application Frame on GitHub. These are guidelines, not rules. This guide is meant to make it easy for you to get involved.

Participation guidelines

This project adheres to a code of conduct. By participating, you are expected to uphold this code. Please report unacceptable behavior to info[at]titannano.de.

What we're working on

Take a look at the issues in our current milestone or during mozsprint 2018, you can browse everything labeled mozsprint to get started!

How to submit changes

Once you've identified one of the issues above that you feel you can contribute to, you're ready to make a change to the project repository!

  1. Get assigend to the issue. You can only get assigned by a trusted project contributor. Please comment on the issue and the first available contributor will assign you.
  2. Fork this repository. This makes your own version of this project you can edit and use.
  3. Create a branch in your fork. The name of the branch you are working on is completely up to you.
  4. Make your changes! You can do this in the GitHub interface on your own local machine. Once you're happy with your changes...
  5. Submit a pull request. This opens a discussion around your project and the project lead know you are proposing changes.

How to report bugs

Notice a mistake? Please file any bugs, requests, or questions in our issue tracker!

When filling an issue please try to give as many details as possible so other contributors can understand you easily. You can always link to the code lines you are referring to or give code examples.

Communication channels

All communication should take place inside the Projects issue tracker, so feel free to comment on the open issues.
