Hi, testet it and it looks great. I also testet some Command lines and -gi 1 crashes the Game. I also noticed that NPCs and the Hero doesn't cast Shadows on Lightsources from Torches/Candles etc. The Shadows Castet by the Sun are looking weird, the Edges are flickering. All in All great thing you did here :D

It actually does :)
In RT can't be memory-less. In out software implementation engine build a list of intersection-candidates per screen tile. Longer list requires more memory.
Ideally I wish to move away from that approach, but it too good performance wise while requires not RT-cores.

I mean that Issue is always on the Same Spot, even after an restart. If it was the Memory it would acour After Time and not instant on the same Spot. I mean thats how Memory works right? it would run out while Playing and not always on the Same Spots.

Also, i got an rtx 4080, if that matters. GPU Usage is at 40-50%

It's allocated form a 64mb pool within frame - so it's practically instant. 64mb is a bit much for vanilla game, but not enough for geometry heavy mods

Ok, so it's the Mod issue, or is there something that can be done?

Also wanted to ask if you can give the Player the Option to choose the brightness for the Lightning? i rather have Dim street lanterns than overbright Torches/Candles etc.

There is a long term plan to provide separated opengothic.ini file with various settings. Pool size or brightness can fit in.

For RT specifically, Mega-Geometry allows to avoid some of memory problems, but it not great: nvidia only and only partial solution
