Dusklight Version
1.3.1
Bug Description
Hard to call this a bug but they can make orientation difficult. I decided to play the game in mirrored mode and discovered that signs in the game pointing to directions are not changed in mirror mode and therefore are not indicative of the mirrored orientation. In the original mode the orientation matches while in mirrored mode the orientation signs are not changed to compensate for mirror mode. It makes orientation a bit harder and at times confusing.
This next part is just cosmetic and more of a suggestion but Link‘s body in the pause menu doesn't match the link in Mirrored mode, instead of holding his sword in his right hand, he keeps it in his left hand, regardless if Im in mirror mode or not.
Steps to Reproduce
- load save
- set game to mirrored mode
- interact with any sign in the game used for orientation
- for Link‘s model in the Pause menu, simply enter the pause menu with the Start button
Expected Behavior
The expected (or rather practical) behavior is that the signs give the correct orientation and compensate for the mirrored mode, while being able to also give the correct orientation in the original mode.
Current Behavior
The current behavior, results in the impracticality that the orientation signs point to the wrong direction in mirrored mode while the same orientation given by the signs would be correct in the original mode, which could make the game a bit more confusing or difficult for gamers wanting to play in mirrored mode and/or who rely heavily on orientation in the game.
